CAREER

 

 Despite his young age 43, former football player, Léo Neiva has accumulated an important international background on his career, mostly outside his native country. He worked already on 4 continents (Asia, Africa, North America / Caribbe and South America).

He recently worked in Asia where he managed the Thai Honda FC in Thailand Premier League after great work done for his second spell at Yadanarbon FC from Myanmar.

In North America he coached Montego Bay United FC from Jamaica Premier League having contribued to the National Title of the season (2015/2016).

He has previously worked twice in Africa, first in South Africa at Platinum Stars FC where got the Nelson Mandela Cup in 2009. Later in Tanzania where he got the remarkable achievement winning the Tanzania National league and the Super Cup in 2014/2015 with Young Africans SC.


Coach Léo Neiva has also worked in Asia, where he provided a great contribution specially working with youth players from Myanmar. A huge amount of them has reached the national U20 team that participate at the FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand (2015) for the first time in the history. Neiva also worked at Clubs from Myanmar National league as Yadanarbon FC and Rakhine United FC. At the time He was the youngest Coach to take over a professional Club in the country with 34 years.

 

Still among his breaks in Brazil, He attended the courses of A and Pro Licenses of CBF / CONMEBOL.

 

Currently Coach Léo Neiva is working as Head Coah of the Concacaf affiliated Saint Kitts and Nevis Senior National Team.
